A Shape-Shifting iPad Case

In 2012, Tactus Technology debuted a tablet that could physically alter its screen to create touchable “keys” when typing. Three years later, the company is finally launching a product, but instead of starting its own standalone device, Tactus is introducing a case for iPad minis that incorporates that very same key-creating technology. Officially dubbed Phorm, the case uses a fluid to shape its tiny key guides and therefore will require no additional power. An iPad Air and iPhone 6 Plus case are currently in the works.
