Cayucas: Moony Eyed Walrus
Two man surf rock outfit Cayucas quickly gained widespread attention with their 2013 debut Bigfoot. The band, composed of twin brothers Zach and Ben Yudin, went from recording in their bedrooms to touring, almost overnight, thanks to their throwback sleepy California vibe. Their new single “Moony Eyed Walrus” brings a more refined but nonetheless infectious energy. It’s the kind of rock music that the summer beckons and we predict this will be on heavy rotation this year. The band’s sophomore album Dancing at the Blue Lagoon drops on Secretly Canadian 23 June 2015.
