Common feat. Mary J Blige: Come Close
Today’s #TBT, taking us back to 2002, is “Come Close,” Common’s gentle serenade for true love featuring R&B queen Mary J. Blige. Both artists—along with No Doubt, Usher, Fall Out Boy, and even a couple of K-Pop stars—are donating their time to perform for free at this weekend’s Global Citizen 2015 Earth Day, taking place in Washington, DC on 18 April 2015. The free event brings together world leaders, policy-makers, activists, artists and of course, us citizens, to inspire action for ending extreme poverty and solving climate change. The event will be streamed live from 11AM to 7PM EST via the Global Citizen YouTube channel.
