Releasing its first items for men this month, Californian fashion label Rodarte introduces their fairytale-grunge deconstructed knits to a new audience.

The four-piece collection sees the sisterly duo apply a slightly more masculine approach to their light touch on fabrics with a line of cardigans and crewneck sweaters that integrate well with today's popular layered look. The loose, light knits (already hugely popular for women) are almost trans-seasonal, adding even more ease for wear.

In the short time since its launch in 2005, designers and sisters Kate Laura Mulleavy have garnered a hardcore following of fashion lovers and stars alike, including Christian Louboutin and Karl Lagerfeld. The duo's critically acclaimed work was also granted the 2008 CFDA Swarovski Emerging Womenswear award as well as a Swiss Textiles award. Undoubtedly the new menswear collection will only add to their extensive fan base.
