Six Flags Introduces Virtual Reality Rollercoasters
Six Flags is teaming up with Samsung to create North America’s first virtual reality rollercoasters. By equipping riders with Samsung Gear VR headsets powered by Oculus, Six Flags will be able to completely transform the rollercoaster experience and transport riders into the virtual world of Superman’s Metropolis or into the cockpit of a fighter jet. Coasters at nine different parks—from Montreal to New York to Los Angeles—are currently set to receive the upgrade.
