Red Bull Music: 20 Before 15
Red Bull Music Academy has drawn together 20 tracks from artists they’ve worked with over the past year. Spanning genres and notoriety, the list represents the diversity evident in today’s music scene where the line between mainstream and underground is increasingly irrelevant. The list is a listenable who’s who of the greats who have passed through RBMA’s halls in 2014. Standouts include Jessie Ware’s dream pop remix of “You & I (Forever)” with Brooklyn’s Corbu, and Lil Herb and Earl Sweatshirt’s stripped down, no-nonsense track “Knucklehead.”
