Students Make Polluted Water Popsicles for Good Reason
Hailing from the National Taiwan University of the Arts, students Hung I-chen, Guo Yi-hui and Cheng Yu-ti created a fake selection of “Polluted Water Popsicles” made with real contaminated water—and they did so for a reason that goes beyond their art studies. In an attempt to spread awareness about pollution, the students collected water from Taiwan’s beaches, lakes and rivers. The results are worrying. While some resin-covered popsicles are murky, others have chunks of garbage, and even sewage in them.
