We recently spent some time at the freshly launched (HIS)Story installation at NYC’s STORY concept shop in Chelsea to check out the well-edited selection of men’s style and grooming goods. From Malin + Goetz to Diptyque to 3×1 Denim and more, the installation—which features around 140 brands—is tailored to suit the tastes of myriad modern men. At the top of our list was a Gillette-sponsored shave with Gillette’s new Fusion ProGlide SilverTouch Razor, which was provided by the very capable hands of Luis from Frank’s Chop Shop on the Lower East Side. The old-school hot towel barbershop shave was complemented by the ProGlide’s extremely thin blade and precision trimmer, which have been expertly designed for sensitive skin.
