Men’s style retailer Mr Porter has just launched a comprehensive grooming section, composed of the best in luxury products. Already a prominent destination for men’s fashion and accessories from the world’s leading designers, this new foray features 77 products from specialist brands across the men’s grooming market—all of which are new to the site. To keep eyes affixed, even more items will be released as the season progresses, making the section worthy of repeat visits. The ever-knowledgable Mr Porter team set to selecting the skin, body and hair products from across the globe, settling on what best fits their brand. To take a look at said selections, below are some highlights.
Handmade, small-batch perfumer Le Labo will be selling their wildly successful men’s perfume oil, Santal 33. Sandalwood based, with notes of cedar and cardamom, the scent is distinctly masculine, yet light enough to not overpower like many colognes. Founded in 1790, there isn’t a brand more historic to the art of men’s grooming than D.R. Harris, whose classic shaving kit comes complete with a badger brush and holder. Not only does it look good, its traditional functionality is highly effective.
Melbourne, Australia’s plant-based product masterworks, Aēsop, will be selling their Parsley Seed Facial Cleanser through Mr Porter’s grooming site. A rich lathering gel, it contains the best high-quality components with an emphasis on the all-natural. And for the hair, Baxter of California‘s firm hold, matte-finish clay pomade is always a solid option. Not too thick or sticky, the pomade keeps hair in place with a light scent driven by notes of lemon and sage.
Other favorites launching in November—from Malin + Goetz to Perricone MD and Santa Maria Novella—represent how deep the site’s catalogue runs. Additionally, Mr Porter’s grooming section will carry exclusive products; the first being an Aēsop Athlete kit (available today, 1 October) and a D.R. Harris Soap Disk and Toothbrush Cup Set.
