Professional surfer Fergal Smith was born and raised on a rural organic vegetable farm in Ireland. Although he’s traveled the world in search of the rarest waves, he still returns home to Ireland where he cherishes the simple life—surrounded by family, friends and homegrown food from his community garden Moy Hill. In a short film, Desillusion Magazine’s Pierre David travels to the surfer’s hometown to sample the purity of unadulterated life as Smith has always seen it.
