A Designer’s Guide to Neighborhood Spots
Navigating a new neighborhood for the best spots to eat and shop can be a daunting task, and apps like Yelp prove to be no help as they overwhelm users with underwhelming options. To alleviate this, NYC-based design agency Hyperakt is offering a different take on the common city guide with a new website called On The Grid, which features curated lists of unique neighborhood destinations chosen by different design agencies. On The Grid is currently available only in NYC but will soon roll out in Los Angeles with plans to expand to other cities after that.
