Alexis Neon: Sink Into It
From the Canadian duo’s forthcoming Seven Windows EP, “Sink Into It” is a grainy and cinematic track made for gloomy days. “Your skin is like sand / I sink into it,” the melody emphasizes. Though subdued, the song is precise and expansive, and there’s significance to the omnipresent melancholy—even when keys, a slow strumming guitar or strings are all that surface.
