Street Art 237

237 is an urban art project that started in Malaga, Spain. They supposedly have a website coming soon. Other than being incredibly cute, the little guys featured above are a direct reference to Hayao Miyazaki’s animated film Princess Mononoke, where they’re the tree spirits known as Kodama. From the looks of it, it seems they’ve left the forest and headed for Spain. I can’t really blame them, though.
