Bored with spotting the same styles across faces in NYC, Holland-born Alex van Klaveren and Washington native Zoe Nightingale took their mutual obsession with shades to launch The Monocle Order. Their limited edition, Martinique frames in fantastic blue on blue are handcrafted in Turkey using zyl acetate (a renewable resource) from Mazzucchelli—a company long known for its investment in plastics R&D. They use a technique which injects pigment into the plastic, meaning they’re that much more brilliant and will last that much longer.
