Psychedelic Photos From Google’s Deep Dream Software
A month ago, Google revealed how it uses algorithms to process and analyze photos. The software, called Artificial Neural Networks, basically allows computers to understand what real-world objects look like by tweaking common patterns between millions of photos. Google recently released the source code to that software under the nickname “Deep Dream” and, since then, people have been using it to create terrifying, psychedelic photos that look like they’ve been pulled straight out of an acid trip. From dog-shaped constellations to natural landscapes riddled with alien eyeballs, Wired rounded up some of Deep Dream’s best hallucinations.
