Oakland, California-based Bloom Farms is a widely acclaimed purveyor of cannabis flower and concentrate cartridges. But, being widely acclaimed in the industry can only get a brand so far—cannabis is only legal, medicinally or recreationally, in a handful of states. CBD, however, is legal in all states and the recently passed amendment to the Farm Bill rendered industrial hemp farming legal.
Bloom, in the interest of applying their same philosophies and standards of quality to the CBD industry, launched their own line of THC-free (at least below 0.3%) products today. The products are all-natural, full-spectrum and USDA-Certified Organic. Plus, the compound is extracted using a method that both keeps the original terpene and cannabinoid profiles intact and is waste-free. They have a naturally nutty flavor and a noticeably calming effect on top of the anti-inflammatory impacts.
This initial launch features a pair of tinctures named Balance ($65) and Relieve ($95) which boast 300mg and 600mg of CBD respectively. Every purchase will benefit their 1-for-1 efforts by supplying a meal to somebody in need through Nevada and California food banks. And while only these two tinctures are available right now, Bloom Farms also announced plans to expand into other categories—including balms, gel-caps and vaporizers.
