Five Thanksgiving Playlists From The Washington Post

As writer James David Jacobs reminds us, there’s no established holiday music for Thanksgiving as there is for Christmas and even Halloween. With that in mind, Jacobs assembled an epic classical playlist, broken down for before dinner, during and after. For those not taken by instrumental wonders, he also constructed an “anything goes” playlist, divided up in the same way, featuring an array of eclectic artists across many genres. Further, he tasked others in the music community to create three more options: one pop/rock, one jazz, and one latin. It’s really a one-stop destination for carefully considered music that will support just about any vibe a Thanksgiving dinner party will take.
