A lot of graffiti these days doesn't go much further than a watered-down cliche, but Tempt One isn't "these days." One of the original graffiti writers that pioneered the L.A. scene, his clean old-school style is unmistakable. The Tempt One Art Benefit, a show to raise awareness and funds for Tempt in his battle with ALS (aka Lou Gehrig's disease), will be this Saturday, 10 March 2007, and should not be missed. In an effort to help provide Tempt with the aid he needs, over 120 prolific graffiti and contemporary artists have banded together to produce this benefit at Urb gallery. (Click on images to see the list of artists). Over 100 original canvases and 18 spray can sculptures will be for sale and all proceeds from the event will be donated to Tempt's family. If you can't make the event, go to Tempt's Myspace page to donate.
