As our name makes clear, we are forever on the lookout for inspiration, clever items and emerging talent. Our Omakase partnership with textile designer Cristina Orozco Cuevas is the result of this. We actually discovered the Mexico City-based artisan on Instagram because she’s also a Sealyham Terrier owner (Logan, our CH mascot, is one of these fine Welsh breeds). We were quickly taken by her brilliant use of color and patterning for complicated jacquard work.
We asked Orozco Cuevas to create something inspired by our Omakase pattern and after visiting the cluttered chaos at CH HQ she decided upon small fabric organizers. These stackable Omakase jacquard catch alls, produced in an edition of 100, were woven in Mexico City. Between the meticulous detail work and the overall charm, they’re a set with aesthetic and functional value regardless of what anyone stows inside.
CH Omakase is a collection of never seen before, pre-release and collaboratively designed gifts delivered in time for a holiday surprise. You can see our collection from this past season here.
