An opportunity to step into the whimsical worlds imagined by one of the most revered children’s book authors, Drawing the Curtain: Maurice Sendak’s Design for Opera and Ballet will open at The Morgan Library on 14 June. The exhibition unites over 150 costumes, props, sketches, storyboards and set models for the first time ever. The productions addressed in the exhibit include Where the Wild Things Are, The Love for Three Oranges, The Cunning Little Vixen, The Magic Flute and Nutcracker. Read more at Cultured.
