Sony DSC-T3

Sony, today, announced a few new digital cameras, including this, the DSC-T3. The T3 is an update to the T1
— my favorite pocket camera ever. The T3 has an even better LCD screen and comes in a slightly more compact package. As they did with the T11, the big sliding lens cover has been removed. It’s great that the device is now thinner, but lens covers are very good things
. They addressed this on the T3 by adding a very thin metal lens cover that instantly opens with the push of the power button. Nice. The T3 should be available in October for about US$500.
