A masterclass in brand and heritage, Buongiorno – The Art of Living Under the Italian Sun was conceived to celebrate a new fragrance by the esteemed Italian brand Acqua di Parma. Beautifully produced by ERG Media and artfully shot by Giovanni Genzini, it celebrates the people making, defining and celebrating their craft, heritage and terroir. Recommendations from these contributors provide readers with favorite locations and personal go-tos, celebrating la dolce vita across your senses. Part journal, part guide, it captures Italy today by those celebrating its history and making its future. And oh yeah, it also elevates Acqua di Parma by showing readers the many components of the country that have and continue to inspire the brand and form its DNA. This limited edition of the book is beautifully printed in Italy (naturally), and has a linen slipcase and sun motif designed by Matteo Cibic. Whether for your coffee table, wanderlust, trip planning or show-and-tell in your next “this is how marketing should be done” meeting, Buongiorno – The Art of Living Under the Italian Sun delivers on all fronts.

Cotopaxi has just released their first hard sided luggage and we’re fans. It’s thoughtfully designed with a lightweight, rugged 100% recycled polycarbonate shell and only uses latch closures because zippers tend to break more frequently. Inside there are two packing cubes that attach to the frame and are easily removed once you reach your destination. It’s available in a 22″ x 14.5″ x 9.5″ carry on ($295) and a 30″ x 18″ x 10.25″ check in ($345). Each bag is paired with colored wheels but you can get wheels in six colors for $5 each to personalize your suitcase if desired. They focused on ease of ownership, with the wheels, handle and latches easily replaced at home.

Opinel is a legendary knifemaker founded in 1890 in the French Alps. Even if you don’t think you “know” Opinel, you probably actually do. Their No. 8 consists of a wood handle carved entirely from a single piece of certified, sustainably harvested beech, a simple, circular metal lockring and a steel blade. Opinels have starred in television series and films like the French Connection II, and now Opinel has commissioned a limited National Parks Guide Series, featuring Yellowstone, Great Smoky Mountains and the Grand Canyon as envisioned through the eyes of local artists. The knife artwork is unique, a bit whimsical and we love that it comes with an accompanying Wildsam field guide to each park. It’s a fun tribute; plus, a portion of every sale goes to Leave No Trace.

La Machine is a totally useless waste of plastic, time, money and engineering, it’s definitely something YOU DO NOT NEED. But you may really want it. Or want to gift it. Inspired by Marvin Minsky’s “the ultimate machine” that existed solely to turn itself off, La Machine is the latest in a string of desirable yet useless products, though it’s now able to get to know you and accesses thousands of different sounds and movements to keep you entertained or break the ice. Simply toggle its red ball switch to activate it and it does the rest.

Landlines are being reinstalled in some homes with kids as a means for them to call their friends in a more analog and controlled way. Tin Can is a WiFi phone that lets kids call friends with a Tin Can for free; an app allows you to control which numbers they can call. It replicates traditional wired handsets though it runs entirely on WiFi. The company also offers a paid plan for $10 a month that allows calls to / from the Tin Can from any number that uses the same app for access. No robocalls, no unknown numbers, etc.—just the ability for kids to call only the friends and family that you permit.

Summerdown started growing Black Mitcham peppermint, an heirloom varietal, around thirty years ago. The farmers found and painstakingly brought cuttings back to England, and with lots of time and care the finicky plant settled in; today it’s grown on 100 acres. Once harvested it’s distilled and barrel-aged, and powers many products that the farm produces. They make several chocolates but the bar is the easiest to travel with, and as we’re always on the go it’s what you’ll often find in our everyday carry. Made from 70% Colombian chocolate, it has a light dusting of sugar crystals to give it a little crunch. Each bar is 100g / 3.5oz, price is for a two pack.

From our go-to reference for plant medicine news and community comes their new book The DoubleBlind Guide to Psychedelics: A Road Map to Tripping, Microdosing, and Beyond, a definitive resource for the quickly expanding category. This guide is helpful to the plant medicine curious as much as it is to industry professionals, featuring where a substance comes from, how its made and used, dosing, experience and more. It speaks both to the category’s longtime use by indigenous communities as well as the current medicinal and industry aspects of plant usage.

Most people think of paintings and flat works when Keith Haring comes to mind, but he was a prolific artist who explored all types of materials, including found objects which were plentiful and free in the streets of NYC in the early 1980s. From cars to clothes, ceramics, wood, sets, bodies and more he honed his work and visual alphabet while creating a substantial body of 3D works that were never the focus of his career or his galleries. A book ten years in the making, it launches adjacent to an exhibition of the same name, opening in the new wing at Crystal Bridges Museum of Contemporary Art 6 June 2026 and running through 25 January 2027. The book was edited by Larry Warsh and Glenn Adamson, and features contributions from Dieter Buchhart, David Galloway, Francis M. Naumann, Lowery Stokes Sims, and Robert Storr.

An exciting collaboration and three piece collection by outdoor brand Danner and Hawaiian designer and cultural practitioner Sig Zane named ‘A‘ali‘i leans into the familiar interpretation of the word (the name of the Hawaiian hopseed bush), symbolizing strength, resilience and standing firm in the face of difficulties. The three products in the collection include the Sig Zane X Danner ʻŌnini Windbreaker ($150), a pair of N45 Sig Zane ‘A’ali’i hiking shoes ($210) and a pair of Danner Light Sig Zane ‘A‘ali‘i hiking boots ($490), each with a variation of an abstract pattern designed by Sig Zane that “symbolizes the strength of the Native Hawaiian people.” The traditional ‘ohe kāpala woodblock technique was used, with a unique design hand carved into bamboo to create the patterns, which were then scanned by Kūhaʻo Zane (Sig’s son) and then designed into the products. We love the authentic intent to bridge Hawaiian tradition with Danner’s class-leading craftsmanship.

Think about all of the knives you’ve used when you set out snacks—most often they aren’t designed for the task at hand; they fall over, they drip and they don’t do a great job. Behold the AirSpreader from Bosign, a multiple award winning design for its simplicity and effectiveness. The ergonomic base rests on the surface, while the spreading half is elevated and ready to spread whatever you’re serving. We love the simplicity and price point for the solid beech version, but several other materials are available as is a larger AirSpreader.
