Smoky Paloma incense comes in cigarette pack boxes and the incense sticks resemble cigarettes, so it looks like a smoking cigarette is in your ashtray, not a stick of incense. Opinel is a legendary knifemaker founded in 1890 in the French Alps. Even if you don’t think you “know” Opinel, you probably actually do. Their No. 8 consists of a wood handle carved entirely from a single piece of certified, sustainably harvested beech, a simple, circular metal lockring and a steel blade. Opinels have starred in television series and films like the French Connection II, and now Opinel has commissioned a limited National Parks Guide Series, featuring Yellowstone, Great Smoky Mountains and the Grand Canyon as envisioned through the eyes of local artists.
