Designers Claire Norcross and Marie-Laure Giroux have returned with their third iteration of Plumen, an exquisite low energy LED bulb in hybrid lamp form. At the core of the bulb, a faceted gold element yields warm, omnidirectional light. At its center, pointing downward, a central spotlight shines with the equivalent of 60 watts (though using only 6.5). A second, atmospheric tone extends everywhere else, delivering true light texture. With 10,000 guaranteed glowing hours, it’s a functional design delight.
