Honoring the Bauhaus centennial (Walter Gropius founded the German art school in 1919), 99designs opened a competition asking designers to reimagine famous logos in Bauhaus style. This saw Burger King morph into a minimal, more formal presentation, and Google’s simple logo transform into a stream of half circles, among many more alterations. The designs not only commemorate the school, but also shed light on its ongoing influence. Read more, and see the rest of the designs, at Artsy.
