Tens Sunglasses’ 2017 Collection

Filtered lenses that beautify your surroundings

While Tens Filter Sunglasses have been on our radar for a few years, today the brand launched their 2017 collection on Kickstarter. In just a few hours, the Edinburgh, Scotland-based sunglass brand (founded by three friends) has already exceeded its goal by over $10k. This means the five new designs they’ve announced are set to come to life.

Of course, these new sunglasses will feature Tens’ incredible filter lenses, which bathe your surroundings in a warm tinge—adding charm and beauty no matter where you are. The 2017 collection is made up of a diverse set of styles, all of which are entirely unisex. We’re particularly drawn to the retro, cat-eye design of the Cleo; as well as the round, compact Cooper in oyster shell. Each pair is made from Italian acetate, Japanese wire frame, and the lenses are a scratch-resistant CR39 polymer—meaning your shades can take a few hits and still look great. Importantly, the filtered lenses don’t just make everything around you look pretty, they also offer UV400 protection—that’s 100% of harmful rays blocked.

Each design on the Kickstarter is available at a discounted £60, with delivery expected in May and June this year.
