Cement the Future of Global Culture at WORLDZ Summit 2018

Speakers, workshops, displays, networking and dinners across a weekend of creativitiy

The 2018 iteration of WORLDZ—a summit aimed at uniting “tomorrow’s leaders with today’s CEOs, CMOs, and Cultural Icons”—returns to Los Angeles on 17 and 18 October. The weekend’s festivities will be held at The Port of Los Angeles and will feature speakers, workshops, art installations and events covering a range of topics (from culture and technology to leadership and social impact). COOL HUNTING is excited to be one of the event’s media partners, as it has been since the summit’s launch in 2016.

Attendees will have the opportunity to brush shoulders with hundreds of higher-ups from a variety of industries. Those attending, and hosting either a panel or a workshop, include Complex CEO and founder Rich Antoniello, Ducati CEO Jason Chinnock, Samsung CCO Jesse Coulter, T-Mobile’s EVP of Marketing and Experience Nick Drake, and Calvin Klein CMO Marie Gulin-Merle—to name a few.

Coinciding with the more hands-on events, Fortune will also be unveiling their “Future 50,” a list of 50 companies poised for breakout growth in the coming year. The unveiling will celebrate the up-and-comers in the world of business—doing so in close proximity to the veterans.

For those that want to attend the event with hopes of unveiling their own company to the influential audience, WORLDZ unveiled an initiative to get you there. WORLDZ Launchpad program will give chosen applicants the opportunity to showcase their start-up to “the most innovative minds and brands ever assembled,” the application guidelines state. Those minds and brands include members from Greylock Partners, Andreessen Horowitz, Google, Vice, Samsung and more. Launchpad is seeking startups with a working product, between $1 and $5 million in funds raised and founded after 2013.

If you, or your company, aren’t fit for either of the aforementioned shortlists, the WORLDZ summit is certainly still worth attending. The foreseeable future of global culture, design, technology and innovation is cemented in this weekend’s events. COOL HUNTING readers receive 20% off of tickets using the code COOLH20.
