No. Six Depot Coffee

Creatively roasted and blended coffees in small batches from the heart of the Berkshire Mountains

When it comes to roasting coffee, smaller quantities often yield better results; with the roaster able to pay closer attention to the process and variances in beans. For Buenos Aires-born Flavio Lichtenthal, owner of No. Six Depot—a roaster and cafe tucked away in the Berkshire Mountains of Massachusetts—a love of finely roasted coffee was born from a passion for music and food; two entities that rely on a blend of technical skill and passion to get things just right. The tongue-in-cheek Seck-Sie Blend sees the rich Sumatra Mandheling bean roasted three ways to draw out various characteristics in the bean, then carefully blended to create a harmonious yet rich brew. We detected a wide range of notes with a bright and herbal nose and a deep molasses finish—a perfect morning coffee for those looking to go a bit darker than your run-of-the-mill breakfast blend.

The Seck-Sie Blend (along with 11 other in-house roasted and blended varieties) are available from No. Six Depot online where a 12oz bag sells for $10.
