Premiere: “Slow” by Colours
The South Florida duo kick off a tour next week, opening for Robert DeLong
Out of Sarasota, FL comes Colours, a duo made up of vocalist Kyle Tamo and drummer Morgan Alley. They premiere the darkly pulsating “Slow” on CH, a track that will appeal to those who enjoy the conscientious pacing of Twin Shadow and the alt-pop appeal of St Lucia. Alley tells CH that, “When we wrote the music we felt a very provocative and sexual pulsing tone and wanted to write lyrics parallel to that. It’s a very primal song that we wrote to invoke very primal thoughts.”
Colours kicks off a two-week tour throughout the US, opening for one-man dance-pop band Robert DeLong. They’ll finish in Orlando, FL’s The Social on 26 February 2016, the same day their debut LP Ivory releases.
