Since 2017, cult brand Fiorucci has been in a state of comeback—with their iconic cherub motif, playful graphics and lettering all now steeped with nostalgia. As such, the ’80s-tinged collaboration with adidas makes perfect sense.
The second collection from the two brands (which debuts today) is print-heavy again, but made for summer—with pool slides, swimsuits, visors and tote bags included. Working within a bold color palette made up of bright orange, red and neon pink balanced out by black and white, the range is playful, youthful and nostalgic for a time when the world was a different place.
Fiorucci and adidas connect rather than collide, with each item straddling the line between the brands with ease. That said, there’s plenty of logos, three stripes, and highlights from Fiorucci’s extensive library of graphics.
The collection will officially be available 10 May.
