BOLDR Expedition Swiss Automatic Field Watch
Six rugged, military-inspired styles from the repeat Kickstarter success story
Once again BOLDR has had great success launching their new models on Kickstarter, including their latest, the BOLDR Expedition Field Watch, which comes in six styles featuring a Swiss automatic Sellita SW200-1 movement inside. At 41mm it’s a very reasonably sized piece, and the case—in either machined 316L stainless steel or PVD—is as handsome as it is durable. The BOLDR team once again accurately checks off all the sweet spots: there’s superluminova, domed sapphire crystal, a see-through caseback, two crowns, water resistance and more, and the high-contrast dial display makes for very easy readability. It’s hard to find an automatic watch at this price in general, let alone one that’s so nuanced—and ready for adventure.
Secure a BOLDR Expedition Field Watch on Kickstarter with a $389 US (or $539 Singapore dollar) early-bird pledge. The campaign, at time of publish, has already exceeded three times its goal. It’s their third Kickstarter to raise over $100K.
