The Chelsea concept shop partners with American Express

Advertorial content:

One of our favorite NYC retailers STORY is presenting “Home for the Holidays” with the support of Shop Small, the initiative founded by American Express. This holiday shopping experience features products from over 200 small business, many of which sprung from a collaborative Pitch Night with CH. With the editorial eye STORY has become known for, acting as a complement to so many local makers, the brick-and-mortar store is guaranteed to offer things you can’t easily acquire elsewhere. A continuation of Small Business Saturday (which was founded by American Express) STORY’s seasonal selections reflect all the values within the Shop Small movement.

The entire space has been turned into an “urban-inspired dwelling” by interior designer Jason D. Bell to make every visit as comfortable as shopping online. Across their shelves and set-ups you’ll find many exclusivesfrom Brooklyn-based designer Beth Macri‘s statement jewelry to Wurkin Stiff‘s accessories for men, and also including gourmet treats fromSpoon NYC, an in-store experience also comes complete with full signage describing the roots of what you’re buying.

This coming Saturday, 21 December 2013, the MILK grilled cheese truck, one of NYC’s favorites, will even be on site making lunch and on Sunday, Macri will be personalizing her hidden message necklaces. It’s another flourish that makes STORY special. We’ve partnered with the shop before because we find their programs to be engaging and we’ve seen the results with products from Pitch Night already in store. Whether you are looking to support a bunch of local businesses, find gifts for challenging loved onesor even just be inspiredSTORY is definitely worth a visit.

You can visit STORY at 144 Tenth Avenue(on the southeast corner at 19th Street) in New York City 19th Street) in New York City and check online for extended holiday hours. If you’re not in NYC, check out some of STORYs featured small businesses on www.shopsmall.com/story.
