It’s never been easier to dress well when working out. The rise of athletic-to-casual crossover clothing (dubbed by some as “athleisure”) means comfort, style, function and performance can all come in one garment. Now that Flyknits and fashion sweats are considered appropriate casual apparel away from the gym, Montreal-based Ciele Athletics is leading the charge in design-driven sports headwear. We’ve followed the brand since their launch last August with the marathon-ready performance five panel GoCap. Now the brand is expanding its line to include two new styles for spring.

The FASTCap is a pared-down take on the brand’s original design: the GOCap. Still fully breathable, lightweight and easy to pack, the FASTCap has a lower profile, lending to its race-ready design. Increased use of COOLwick mesh makes this hat the perfect summer training companion that will stand up to long hours in the sun and stick with you on race day. Also new for spring 2015 is the TRLCap—if the FASTCap is a road racer, the TRLCap is made for the trail. A deconstructed take on the trucker hat, the TRLCap swaps mesh and foam for COOLwick moisture management material and a UPF 40 front panel. Each design is pliable, packable and features subtle reflective notes throughout for night use. Importantly, each wears well in casual and competitive environments alike.

All of Ciele Athletics‘ caps go for $45 and come in a wide range of colorways. Sure to last for the long haul, the brand’s products are backed with a Million Mile Guarantee.
