When a bag was stolen filled with expensive camera gear, the owner was calmed that the AirTag he had in it would help assist in its recovery. Then they realized that the battery in it was dead. AirTag batteries are easy to replace but typically only last around a year, which goes by quickly. So they got to work and Elevation Labs developed TimeCapsule, a rectangular case that supports two AA batteries, which can provide power for your AirTag for up to 10 years or more, and provides the power of 12 coin cell batteries.
