A shout out to CH Contributor Giulio Mazzoleni and his new book, Madonna Soundtrack. Having worked with the artist for years he was inspired to tell the stories behind her songs in a comprehensive way for the first time. This compendium covers more than 500 songs from the 1970s on, and features a range of interviews, tour coverage and playlists. This thoroughly researched and meticulously completed book is a must for any Madonna fan.

This collaboration on irreverent travel essentials marks the first of its kind for the bespoke leather goods house, renowned for its skilled artisans, and also includes a grocery tote in black and brown crocodile-effect leather, as well as a wine and spirits case in an apt shade of bottle green. “This trio of items I designed with the George Cleverley team are, at the end of the day, deeply frivolous versions of things I use on a daily basis,” Weiss tells us. “When I had a cocktail hour with George Glasgow, the brand’s co-owner and CEO, a year ago at the Guards Bar at The Raffles in London, we wondered what he could make with these leftover small pieces of rare skins he has on-hand in the workshop after he’s finished making shoes for cool guys like David Beckham. When I told him I had amassed a collection of many, many eye masks from my travels and that I slept with one on every night, he and his craftsmen were bold enough to give it a try.”

Away With The Tides Umbrella By Calida Rawles

If you have the opportunity to see Calida Rawles’s Away With The Tides show at the Pérez Art Museum Miami before it closes 2 February 2025 it’s well worth seeing in person. The seminal work celebrates residents of Overtown, one of Miami’s historically black neighborhoods near the museum, who are experiencing the ocean for the first time at the historic Virginia Key Beach nearby. The now-closed beach was the first “official colored only” beach in Miami and a much loved location for decades. This umbrella features one of the installation’s most powerful images, and ironically protects you from the rain while celebrating the joy of being submerged in water. The umbrella is 34″ high and 36.5″ in diameter when open. The show’s catalog is both a great companion to the umbrella as well as a must-have coffee table book or addition to your library.

Dilo created a fragrance and a candle, featuring blood orange, bergamot, cedar, moss, amber and fir, connecting to the brand’s beliefs in sustainability, progress and personalized luxury. Indigo Leather Coasters (Set of Four)

These simple coasters are hand dyed in NYC with natural indigo dye using remnant vegetable tanned leather from Japan. Once dyed they are treated with leather oil to maintain their sheen. Given the nature of the indigo dye and the batch of leather each coaster is unique, and while the ones you receive will be very similar they will not be identical to the ones shown in these images. Note that the indigo may rub off initially so you may want to avoid using on light colored surfaces, but they will settle in over time. The coasters are 3.5″ / 9cm in diameter.

If there’s one thing that most San Franciscans can agree on, it’s that the Muni (its municipal transit system’s name) has a really great logo. Limited Edition Original Cabin Optical Suitcase

Rimowa’s limited edition game is always strong, and this time it’s the company’s classic hero piece, the Original Cabin roll aboard suitcase, that gets a simple, substantial, twist. Riffing off the brand’s iconic groove design, segments are polished in opposite directions instead of in the same direction—what appears to be changes to the anodized aluminum grooves is simply an optical illusion.
