Opening a decade ago, Brooklyn’s acclaimed, Michelin–starred The Four Horsemen restaurant has remained a hotspot for its exquisite food, delicious wine list and laidback, boisterous vibe. Their first cookbook is a pragmatic and user-friendly recipe book that’s separated into predictable categories (meat, seafood, salads + vegetables) and unexpected ones (a bowl of, bread + toast). With a humorous introduction, a section on wine and tempting photos throughout, it’s a warm, casual but impeccable cookbook that just makes sense—much like the restaurant itself.

We met designer Ti Chang years ago, and she continues to impress us with Crave, her line of beautifully made, subtle and discretely subversive pleasure jewelry and accessories. This Kickstarter project supports the launch of the Tease Vibrator Necklace, which features Crave’s Tease vibrator—a small, surprisingly powerful lozenge-shaped vibrator that can be discretely worn on a necklace, as a ring or simply carried. Available in silver and 24kt gold, as a necklace or as a set that includes adaptors to wear it as a ring, the Kickstarter offer also includes sourcing options to suit your preference and budget—made in China, assembled in USA, or made in USA—with prices starting at $98.

EDJY has reimagined the nail clipper, a tool largely unchanged since the 1880s, by introducing a single-blade design that cuts cleanly rather than crushing. This innovation eliminates jagged edges and the need for post-trim filing, while an integrated cavity collects clippings to prevent mess. Crafted in Michigan, EDJY’s cutters are made from high-hardness stainless steel and have been tested for over 150,000 cycles to ensure durability. The ergonomic design positions the lever closer to the blade for enhanced control, and a safety-tested blade stop protects the nail bed. By combining precision engineering with sustainable, American-made manufacturing, EDJY offers a thoughtful upgrade to a daily grooming essential.

We love when some of our favorite brands collaborate—rather, when they collaborate and bring the best each has to offer—which is what Birkenstock and Maharishi have done with the Mogami Terra Tech. Starting from the newly introduced Mogami model, a hearty, all-terrain shoe, Maharishi brings its M.A.L.I.C.E. (Modified All-Purpose Lightweight Individual Carrying Equipment) functionality and stylistic point of view with two nylon and suede straps that feature a quick release buckle. Available on their own or in a pack, which includes a double carabiner and strap and a pair of socks, in olive, sand and black.

We haven’t been this excited about a rarely used plant byproduct since coffee flour—flour made from the fruit of the coffee cherry that covers the bean. What’s so similar with Holy Cacao’s Dried Cacao fruit chews is the similarity in using the fruit of a plant that is otherwise a waste product. Both coffee and cacao are grown in similar climates / locations, and both are nearly always processed on site. Like the coffee cherry’s fruit, the fruit inside of the cacao pods that surround its seeds is rarely used as a food source for animals or humans, mostly because it must be handled as the seeds are removed; it’s not easy to work with, and it spoils quickly. Holy Cacao turns it into a dehydrated fruit leather, cut neatly into small squares. The dried cacao fruit chews are tasty, tangy, full of energy, flavor, antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. Price is for the 1lb bag. Smaller and larger bags are available, and it comes in natural and sour lemon flavors.

Kaikado was founded in Kyoto in 1875 by Kiyosuke Kaikado, who developed Japan’s first tinplate tea canisters (chazutsu), which offered a significant advantage over traditional earthenware, wood, or copper jars by providing an airtight seal to maintain tea freshness; the company is recognized as the oldest handmade tea canister manufacturer in Japan. Kaikado’s craft and heritage have been passed down through six generations, with Takahiro Yagi currently leading the family workshop, and he’s currently leading the celebration of the company’s 150th anniversary with the debut of Kaikado, a comprehensive and beautiful book created with ERG Media.

We love nerdy details, and few do tees as considered as Standard & Strange. The development of their Wakayama Special Loopwheel Tees are celebrated by those who relish attention to detail and enjoy sharing the benefits of loopwheel knits. Here’s what you need to know: Loopwheel is both a circular knit—meaning that the body of the tee is knt as one piece without side seams‚ and it’s also the name of the vintage knitting machines that make the knit. They are in no hurry, taking around ten times as long to knit the same length of fabric as a modern knitting machine. You can feel that luxurious time in the 100% cotton fabric, which uses long staple yarn to ensure that it doesn’t warp. From the fit to the colors you’ll be hard pressed to find another tee you’ll actually.love. This relaxed fit tee is available in several colors.
