Philipe Starck

Forge de Laguiole Pocket Knife

Philippe Starck’s Forge de Laguiole pocket knife is both a useful tool and (quite literally) a work of art. First displayed at the Cooper Hewitt Museum’s “Art of Living in France: 1789 to 1989” exhibition and later accepted into the MoMA’s permanent collection, the all-aluminum knife is a sleek and graceful interpretation of the historical blade.
