Fit for commuting or cruising, Levy’s baseline Electric Scooter features a first-ever for the consumer e-scooter market: within the stem (the pole that attaches the handlebars to the frame) there is a swappable battery system. This allows riders to change the internal battery (which should last 10 miles on a single charge) when it dies, lengthening rides and saving owners from the hassle of lugging the scooter home. (The scooter isn’t terribly heavy, though—just 27 pounds.) Further, the scooter is available with either 8.5-inch tubeless or solid tires—the latter eliminates the possibility of a flat while out on a ride.
