New Paltz, New York’s Coppersea Distillery is a founding member of the Empire Rye consortium—a coalition that designates whiskies and distilleries as being of and interested in elevating a given appellation and area. This rye malt whisky, named after a peak overlooking their farm, is the distillery’s first Empire Rye expression.
